Marc A. Korenberg is a distinguished finance executive with a career spanning over 24 years. During this time, he has developed a broad skill set and a reputation for effective leadership across various industries. With a background in both finance and operations, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to solve complex problems, drive growth, and lead teams toward achieving business objectives.
Marc's academic journey began at the University of Vermont, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business in 1999. He later pursued an MBA in Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management, which equipped him with the advanced financial knowledge to serve as his career's foundation. After completing his studies, he joined UBS Investment Bank in New York, working in corporate finance. His role at UBS exposed him to high-level financial strategies, including planning, forecasting, and analysis, which would become critical tools in his later career.
However, Marc's path took a significant turn following September 11, 2001. Deeply moved by the tragedy, he left the corporate world and enlisted in the United States Army. He attended Infantry School and later Airborne Paratrooper jumps school, ultimately serving as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. His military service taught him valuable leadership and teamwork skills, reinforcing his ability to work under pressure in high-stakes situations. These lessons would influence his leadership style and approach to business for years to come.
After his military service, Marc returned to civilian life and ventured into the private sector. He joined a family-owned motorcycle dealership in Bear, Delaware, where he initially worked in sales. His financial acumen quickly became apparent, and he transitioned into a role in the company's finance department.
