Happy (belated) New Year.
          
          It's been a long time since any followers have heard from me, and I'm always amazed that Dream Girl is still being read and getting added to reading lists.
          
          I haven't been doing much writing recently. 2025 was a hellish year for me. My husband and I bought a house, and we were going through infertility treatments. That stuff is not for the weak. It's emotionally exhausting. 
          
          But I'm happy to say they worked and we're expecting our baby later this year.
          
          I have a some more free time on my hands now that I am not so emotionally tapped, and I hope to start post some new chapters of Dream Girl sometime in March.

          I know I’ve been pretty inconsistent with updating, so I’m officially putting Dream Girl on hiatus. 
          
          It’s not so much that I have writer’s block; I’m just emotionally tired from life and finding it hard to write right now. Maybe that will change in this New Year as I adjust my priorities and schedule.
          
          It’s definitely not forever. I just needed to formally say something, so I didn’t carry this weight and guilt of not updating super consistently.

          Life just hit me hard, and I’ve been dealing with writer’s block. But it’s fall time again, and I’m getting back into a groove. Probably gonna start watching Gilmore Girls again, so hopefully the inspiration will kick back up.
