          Thanks for following me and good onya from Australia for taking the plunge. I am relatively new on Wattpad too although I wrote my first book here in 2017 I went AWOL during Covid and dealing with prostate cancer. So I'm  back now writing the sequel to HereAfter Dark. I hope your writing journey is a long one. I'll help where I can.  My first advice is don't get discouraged by feedback. I first wrote a short story when I was 12 years old. Sent it to a publisher ..got a rejection letter and never wrote again until I was 66 years old  So don't be like me. There was no Wattpad when I was 12 or maybe things would have been different who knows.  My point is there are many people who will help and advise you here so you have the best chance of being a successful writer right here where you are..my opinion. 
          If you don't know what you are doing you have made a huge step in admitting it from the start.

          Plus an award book of a competition I was In recently. You'll learn about these contests. Read the judges advice and critique on the entries including mine. This will give you a feel for what judges are looking for and what works for them.
