          As my gift to you, I'm going to post the entirety of 'Tis her Season, a Royal Regard prequel (Bella's cousin Charlotte's HEA), between now and Christmas--a few chapters today and the rest once a day, like an Advent calendar. I'll leave it up until New Year's, so put it on your list.

Hi, all! I've just posted Chapter 3 of Royal Regard, wherein we meet our villain. For those of you who followed Never Kiss a Toad, this is Toad's parents' HEA. (Toad's mother also has an HFN, Shipmate, always a free download at online retailers.)

Once again, we are looking for beta readers who want to re-read Toad from the start, and suggest people or places or storylines to cut out. We will lose more than half in the retelling. If you want to help us decide what stays, we'll acknowledge you in the book and send you an advance copy when it's ready.

And as sad as it is to reach the end of [our part in] Toad and Sal's story, by this one final chapter, you can at least be assured that after the many trials, tribulations, twists, and turns, they will have a happy life together, and that their love story may never end. (We just won't be watching. ;-)) Jude and I are grateful for all of you who have come along on this (very, very long) journey--your comments and reactions are a great encouagement. I will be posting the second chapter of Toad's parents' HEA, Royal Regard, tomorrow and, as always, the story of Bella's first marriage, Shipmate, is free at all the big online booksellers. Thank you for your part in our  storytelling. Toad and Sal--indeed, Haverford and Cherry and Bella and Nick--would want us to say goodbye for them, until their book is culled from a huge mass of words.
