Hey, I just realized you are in Nouvelle-Calédonie!  Very cool.  I've spent time in Australia, but the closest I've been to New Caledonia is an aunt and uncle whose flight to Sydney was diverted there during a storm.   It happened to be during a period of secessionist unrest in the 1980s.
