Hey girl! I just started reading your Katniss Everdeen fic and I noticed that we have a similar plot. I also have a Katniss book, but mine was first written in early 2023, while yours was published the year before. I came up with the childhood best friends/victor plot by myself, but I guess I wasn’t very creative haha. I’m letting you know so you don’t think that I stole your plot! I swear I hadn’t read it until after I had already published my book. i actually used to write on Quotev, which is where my book was originally published, so I wouldn’t have read yours anyway to be able to take the plot. I was wondering if you were bothered by this and wanted me to take it down/change some similarities so we don’t have as similar stories? I’ve only read the first chapter of your book, so I don’t know anything else that happens in it so the rest of my book will definitely be different than yours since I haven’t finished it yet. I also don’t mind mentioning you in the intro chapter saying that we have similar plots but you made yours before me! Just let me know and I’m sure we can work something out <3

Perfect! Thank you so much, your book is really good as well! I love the name Olwyn! I think that as long as we’re not using each other’s books as references (not that either of us would do that haha!), we’re fine to keep writing them however we want! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly <3

hey, I guess great minds think alike! Mine isn’t near finished either, I’ve been planning since I say 2021 maybe but wasn’t published until year after. I’m totally okay with similar plot lines, they may be somewhat similar in some aspects but what we wrote ourselves makes them completely different stories ! I’ll have to read your fic, intro chapter is so good ! Lmk what you were thinking
