Dear Ginger,
The house feels empty without you.
You turned 8 years old in March and it is now 2 months later and you are no longer here.
When I think of you, you are a playful dog who knows what you want and what you don't want.
You were my best friend.
I would never forget that as a puppy of barely one year old you went to the Gay Pride in Amsterdam.(2016)
You were actually going to go to a puppy class that day and come with me later, but due to circumstances the planning changed.
Your boss also made you sit at the station once or twice a day so that you could get used to the sound of the trains.
That day we finally really went by train.
Fortunately it was a low train, with a bit of an opening.
You didn't like it and I picked you up.
As soon as the doors of the train closed and the train started moving, you found it a bit too exciting.
The ride that only took 12 minutes was already a party for you.
Because you found everything exciting and fun when all those people gave you their attention.
It made me jealous, but also nice.
At every station you wanted to get out and I really had to lift you up so you wouldn't run away.
With this memory I say goodbye to you.
I would always think of you.
