I try to update every so often when I forget about this site, so that is what I'll be doing again today:

Hello I'm Marlena, but I prefer Martie, I'm 20 years old who lives in Kansas. As it's pretty much obvious, I love to write, it is my escape from everything. I love it. Everyday I'm still learning on how to improve my writing skills and what I can do to make sure everyone loves it and wants to see more.

Sometime last year or so, I wrote a little story called Eternal Life, now it being my first story ever on here, I was surprised to see how much positive feedback it got. So if you voted for it/left something nice about it - thank you! It means a lot to me. As I go back and read it and I realize I made several mistakes in it, I admit I was nervous and tried to stick to a schedule to upload so people wouldn't be disappointed, but whether I did that or just uploaded whenever, you all still loved it and I'm grateful for that.

Now I'm working on another called Nightmare Hell, I was planning to stick to the same schedule I did with my previous, but due to a lot of personal issues I have in my life right now, the uploading of the chapters hasn't been the best. As of now it's on hold. However, I've been trying to find free time to continue writing because I feel connected to this story and I want to finish it. But in all honesty that hasn't been the case. I've been spending more time with my LDR boyfriend (who recently just left my town) and he will be coming back soon. I don't do anything on my phone when he's here since I try to spend all the time I can with him. I've also been doing some schooling, looking for jobs, basically the adult essentials. 

Just know that if I ever do disappear again, I WILL come back. I promise. Thank you all for the support and I'll try to post asap. Take care.
