guys i genuinely can’t with authors making parents like really young. ur telling me their mum is currently 41 and her oldest child is 25. please do the maths because that would’ve made her 16 when she gave birth. let’s not forget ab the dad’s age which is 45 so he would’ve been 20 when they had their first child… so that’s like illegal as well. oh yeh and they continue to have children with barely a year between them. make it make sense. don’t be lazy, use ur common sense and do the basic maths. not every parent has to be young to be ‘beautiful’ don’t pmo

sometimes i think of the authors who haven’t updated their books in years and wonder how they’re doing. like they could be married or even have children or moved countries or even in their last stages of uni and probably not even remember writing or think of their books because they’re so busy with life now.

@mary4mm despite being a college student almost in their senior year, i have so much free time it makes me think im doing something wrong LOL

i think i’ve read at least 5 books in the last few days which have used AI, and i wouldn’t have known if authors hadn’t accidentally left the ai script in, so i can only imagine how many i’ve read within the last year that have also been using it. i’m lowkey really disappointed as there was once a time where authors were authentic and would write their own books and do so amazingly without the use of AI. i can understand using it to correct your grammar and spelling or even rewording a few phrases, but tbh even that is something that can be done urself. using it to write ur entire book completely defeats the purpose of being a writer. i think it’s even worse when an author starts off writing the book themselves and then later starts using ai, because it shows they are capable of writing but are doubting their own abilities. writings not for everyone and although you may have amazing ideas, i don’t see the point in sharing if ur gonna use ai to write ur books, it lacks authenticity. there’s something so real and beautiful about a writer articulating their ideas into wonderful writing, even if there’s a bunch of spelling mistakes or errors. i’ve read books from writers where english isn’t their first language and they’ve written it so well despite the language difficulties and they haven’t used ai. let’s not forget about the fact that it’s so damaging for the environment. it’s so disappointing

@AkornDefalko i’m genuinely so disappointed because some of the best books i’ve read are on wattpad and were written during a time where ai didn’t exist, so it does show there are writers who are amazing at writing.
