Hi everyone!
It's been a very long time!!
Some of you might remember my old My Chemical Romance fan fiction, Following the Red Gunned Road. I wrote it purely as a hobby because I loved the band so much (still do! ), and I never imagined it would find so many readers. I'm still incredibly grateful to everyone who supported it over the years.
I did try going back to finish it, but after nearly 20 years I'd changed so much that I found myself cringing at my teenage writing! Rather than rewriting every chapter, I decided to take everything I'd learned and create something new... Ashes & Amplifiers.
It's inspired by the story I started all those years ago, with some familiar scenes and moments, but featuring a completely fictional band. From there, it quickly grows into its own story. It's a story about found family, healing, hope, and discovering that home isn't a place... it's the people who choose to stay.
I've just published the first 10 chapters, and I'll be publishing more over the coming days. I'd absolutely love it if you'd check it out! If you do read it, I'd really love to hear what you think. I'm still no professional writer, but I've genuinely loved writing this in my spare time.
