@marzipanlimpet , I completely agree with you on the magic thing. You’ll see more of my thoughts on the matter as you continue to read. It is in the title, after all. My updates aren’t regulated at all. It’s one of my many faults. Some chapters just come to me more easily than others. I am, however, always working on it. If there hasn’t been an update in some time, it’s probably because I’ve taken after Pooh Bear, tapping my head and “think, think, think”-ing.

@Schlemiel sure sure sure whatever, just keep the good stuff coming. You are a writer: you have your own style and what you write is really enjoyable. My biggest problem with fantasy is never the implausible leaps of imagination authors ask for magic. The sky could be green and magic could be a byproduct of two ducks arguing over fiscal stimulus and I might somehow believe it. Human nature is the one law I can't cope with authors breaking, but your characters are already real (and entertaining) so I reckon this story is going to be something pretty good. How regularly do you update?
