These Patrick Kane rape allegations really make me want to pull 'Opal's Boy'. I'll say now, I'm on the victim's side because Kane does not have the cleanest record and to be blunt, doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. I do NOT believe she's doing it for money nor attention, and I support her for coming forward. If this is true, he is a truly disgusting individual and I will have to do some major adjustments to Opal's Boy.
          
          I'm not writing this to be controversial. I'm writing this because I've gotten a few inbox messages asking me where I stand because I have a story that involves him. If you have any suggestions as to what I should do with the story if it be necessary to change it, let me know what you'd like to see done.

I'm considering bringing back the Eric Staal story. Just in case you don't remember what it was about, it was a cheating story. It was originally for my psychology class, but I'm out of school so that's irrelevant now. Anyway, I've been adding onto it since then, and I really like how its coming together. "Opal's Boy" is coming close to an end (as well as Maybe Someday [but not until late June/ mid July when Jack will be drafted]) and I would like to have a story to replace it. We'll just call "Deeply Rooted" a slow update story because thats just the story I write when I'm not busy, but I don't want it back in my drafts, so I'll leave it published. Moreover, what I'm getting at is if you have a real problem with a story of Eric Staal cheating, please let me know before May 29, because that is when I will release the first two, maybe three chapters.
