i really love the saying, “when the thoughts get big, go to a place where you feel small.” it resonates to me so much. the small room i live in in a small house with my many family makes me feel suffocated and when i overthink about my life, the environment just tolerates me until i exhaust from it. but when i’m out, i realize there’s actually a life outside mine. that life happens even when i’m in a place different from where i usually stay and it goes on and on and on and a lot of things can happen and it’s not just bad but also beautiful things happen and that’s something that i should appreciate sometimes. because life doesn’t stop when i feel sad, it continues even when i walk outside with tears, when the things i carry feels heavy, when i feel so alone, and feel like i have no one.

it's just overall balance. emphasis to
"some things" cuz there are also things that you have to persist and resist strongly! like the bad governance! #everything is political, it's true!

anyway, yes. i’m still in the part where i really am learning to embody this belief but i'll go back to this when i feel so down.

when i say, “i realize there’s actually a life outside mine.” ofc i think about this and this is something that every should know already but it’s easy to say that when you don’t have problems, but when u actually feel down and when it’s so bad that you just let the sadness eat you, it feels like you no longer allow yourself to see things outside. and sometimes it’s hard to accept but you just have to let some things be. you have no full control over anything and you don’t get to blame yourself everytime when things get out of hand.
