hello everyone ~
          
          as you can probably see, i may have flooded your notifications with updates from ‘the call of war’ because i have officially posted the rewritten chapters for the first act!! as i write this, i am also proud of stay i am half way done with rewriting the second act as well, as like i said in a previous update, i found that i was a little more satisfied with the way those chapters turned out, and just needed to tweak and edit them rather than completely rewrite them like i did with act one. the rewrite is moving quickly, and i hope to have it finished here soon.
          
          other updates: i am FINALLY returning to my lo’ak fanfic that i began so long ago, ‘treacherous’. i’m super excited for what i have planned for the story, and i plan on publishing the first bit here soon. i also have chapter outlines drafted up, as well a rough draft as to how i want the entire story to play out, and let’s just say, im super satisfied with what i have!! honestly, (and i can’t believe im saying this) im liking the plot of ‘treacherous’ more than i enjoyed the plot for ‘the call of war’, so if you’re looking for an enemies to lovers story or a story following an adult timeline of the characters from atwaw, then ‘treacherous’ is for you!! 
          
          anyway, that is all i have for now. i’m really on an inspiration kick, so expect a lot of things coming soon in the next few weeks! :)

hello everyone ~
          
          just a small update about the rewriting progress for ‘the call of war’! i have officially finished rewriting the first act, which came out to be 28k words (holy crap). however, i am noticing that i am rewriting it a little a slower than i originally planned. because of that, i will be very slow with updating the actual rewritten version of the story. i am just super busy with working almost 40 hours a week and hanging out with friends before going back to college, so i dont have as much time to dedicate to rewriting. along with that, sometimes i just don’t have the inspiration, and i dont want to force myself to write if it isn’t coming to me, as i feel like that is a one way ticket to burning myself out once again. though, i just wanted to come on here and say the rewrite is actually happening! it is in progress, i promise! hopefully, even though acts two and three are longer, they won’t take as long to rewrite, as i feel like the later chapters, where i began to find my groove and my voice, require less attention. anywho, just trying to keep you guys updated and not letting you all sit in the dark like i did last time. i am not abandoning this story/rewrite, i promise!
          
          along with that, i think i may also begin writing some of my other stories as well, like my aemond one, as well as my lo’ak one which i unpublished a long time ago and never republished. i think if i start writing those, it’ll grant me new ideas and inspiration, and hopefully fuel the rewrite as well. 
          
          anyway, that is my update for now. please be on the look out for future updates!

          i just wanted to come on here and say HAPPY AFAA TRAILER DAY!! it feels like we’ve been waiting an eternity for this day. i got see it a couple days early in theaters for the fantastic four, but i just rewatched it again and it still looks just as stunning. so so excited for it :))

          i have some great news! if you go look at ‘the call of war’, i am proud to say i have rewritten the first three chapters (hurray)!! like i mentioned previously in the rewritten chapter of ‘the call of war’, rewritten chapters will have a little ‘ ️’ next to the chapter title to signify it is a rewritten version, until i get all the chapters rewritten. i wanted to go ahead and post a few of the written ones now, as i feel very accomplished and happy with the way those ones turned out, and i was super excited to share them with you all! all together, those three chapters alone add up to 11k words, so i am happy to say the story already feels more fleshed out, which was what i was going for.
          
          if you read the original story and decide to read the rewritten version, you will find that some things have changed! either small plot points, new scenes/edited scenes, and a few other things. like i said, i really wanted to take my time with this and really try to flesh out the story in a way i am much happier with, which i think i succeeded! please let me know your thoughts on the changes, as i love hearing from you guys.
          
          that is all for now, and please be on the look out for more rewritten chapters in the future. i’m super happy with the direction the story is now taking, and i hope you all like it as well :)

hello everyone ~
          
          for those of you who remember me, hi! for those of you who don’t, hello to you too :).
          
          i just wanted to make a small announcement that i republished ‘the call of war’ for those of you who may miss it or wondered where it went! i posted awhile back that i wanted to rewrite it, which is still true! however, at the time, i ended up not rewriting and, in all honesty, felt quite embarrassed by the poor quality of writing i found it to be.
          
          after some reflection, however, ive realized that i am my harshest critic, and there are those out there that still really enjoyed the story, despite my thoughts on it! therefore, i republished it. 
          
          i still haven’t decided if i will completely rewrite it. as much as i want to, and with how excited i am with avatar 3 in december, it feels fitting to rewrite it. on the other hand, i don’t have the same motivation and passion i once had with that story. since writing that story two years ago, i have graduated high school and finished my first year of college, so to me, i have outgrown that story. though, as an english major who has already learned so much in her first of university, i feel like i have so many new ideas and ways of writing that i can implement into the story. for now, we will see how i feel. i plan on opening my old documents and drafts and seeing what i can gather from there, and then ALSO write everything before i announce i have rewritten it. this is no promise, but i hope future me pulls through and creates something even more invigorating and thoughtful than what i wrote 2 years ago.
          
          with that being said, i may also publish the story on ao3 if i decide to rewrite it, and in all honesty, may transition completely to over there.
          
          anyway, hello again, and hopefully you will be hearing from me once more soon enough :).
