@maxefforts ╱              the cigar had him hold back on using wade as a pin cushion.   if only in fear that it would be destroyed in another unnecessary fight that he would start.   anger issues that he wouldn’t be working on anytime soon either.     it was only the crack of a smirk and chuckle, smoke moving around his face as he stared at the man for a long time.  as if searching for something he didn’t find or maybe he did.  
            “  really?   she’ll take you back any day now?  “ he questioned in mere disbelief, the cigar placed between two fingers.   the ash slowly falling to the ground as he laughed.      “  yeah.  right, maybe when she comes back to you, i’ll start looking for someone to call my hunny.  “ it was unlikely that he would.  often blamed on his long life span as the reason he didn’t go out of his way to find someone.  
            the wolverine had a number of people in his past to pick from, male or female.  he didn’t.  a solitary life he had chosen for himself however long ago seemed to have stuck.   and talking or flirting wasn’t something he was good at.   perhaps another showing of his true age.    “ and for the record,  i’m not mopey. i am doing just fine, by myself.   “

                    wade  let  out  a  breath  he  didn't  know  he  was  holding,  taking  a  step  back.  hands  held  up  defensively,  he  didn't  back  down,  following  after  the  other  almost  too  happily.  deadpool  wasn't  about  to  admit  he  was  actually  scared.  he  was  a  killer.  he  wasn't  supposed  to  feel  threatened  by  a  big  guy  with  shiny  claws.  " you  don't  seem  perfectly  fine.  it's  the  tragedy  of  all  your  storylines.  i  mean,  come  / on /,  it's  getting  old.  you're  just  so  mopey. " at  the  mention  of  wade's  own  failed  love,  his  face  fell  underneath  his  mask  and  he  went  silent.  for  just  a  second.  then  the  masked  man  was  perking  up  again,  overly  chipper  despite  the  truth  to  the  mutant's  words.  " we're  working  it  out.  she'll  take  me  back  any  day  now. "  that  was  a  lie.  he  hadn't  even  really  attempted  it.  that  part  was  too  hard  for  him  and  too  serious  for  him  to  even  think  about  facing.

@maxefforts  ╱           claws retracted into his skin, skin that healed fairly quickly.  a closed fist went to his side with pure anger at the other.   lips curled into deep frowns while he pushed past deadpool, long strides taken to go somewhere else.     maybe find an excuse to kill something that was actually killable.    saying he needed a girlfriend did make the man stop in his tracks as he turned to face him,  
            “  i do not need a girlfriend or a significant other.  “  a finger was pointed to the man’s chest.   god did he want a cigar right now or maybe hard liquor of some kind.     “ i am perfectly fine on my own.   “ 
            his finger moved back and was stuffed into a inside pocket of jacket.   he thought he had a cigar there.    relief escaped his chest seeing a half burned one.   obviously meant for ‘ emergencies. ‘    deadpool was an emergency, the kind that had him trying to stop from killing him.      “ why are you so interested in my love life anyway?    shouldn’t you be trying to get back with what’s her face?  “   with a intake of the smoke the anger slowly fled his body.   at least a little bit.    logan didn’t have the urge to kill him when he looked at him anymore.
