I think the person who said that Rafe is better is wrong wrong! Adam took her to save her because he knew that if he took her back to the pack he would have to deal with his father and right now Dava was his only concern. They are mates she was brought up thinking that she is not good enough, it's not that she didn't want him it's that she felt herself not good enough. I tink that person needs to read the story again. Sometimes persistence in a loving way is what needs to happen when two people are meant to be. She is his mate she was just fighting it.
I think Rafe has the feeling but I don't think he is really her mate I think he feels the connection like Josh did but thinks it's a mating call, just like her brother Josh might it is something else. That's whats great about fantasy and writing you can and make up what you want as long as even though it's fantasy sounds real.
Great Job, pls. write soon and let Adam be ok and Dava pregnant and Rafe come back to save his son and Lorraine be ok and not raped. Let Tayla also be ok.
