So I've taken a break from Kpop fanfiction because my writing slump was really bad. I am trying fresh ideas with Thailand BLs fanfiction next. Wish me luck for Walk to You (PondPhuwin) and Fame, Duty, Desire (AouBoom)

And so, I've started publishing Muse's chapter.
I'm so worried about publishing this book as this is my comeback after a long hiatus. But bad story is better than no story, huh

And sorry again for the late release. I don't have any excuse anymore at this rate. I'm just straight up guilty.

Enjoy! and lemme know your though on it.

(Forgot to upload four more trivias for Muse but we can get to that later.)

People around you. Some people deserve to stay, some don't. But most of the time, the people we long for will leave, while the obnoxious remain.

That's the nature of life. Separation is inevitable.

In this book, both main characters have to deal with lost of loved ones. Grieving for the loss, the world didn't let them breathe and decided to give them more hardships. Breathing has become difficult. Living become a survival task.

Did you have any experience losing endeared ones?

70% of this book was written when I was traveling, i.e on the bus, in the cab, on the train, while I was waiting for transit, late night after arriving at the accommodation, while eating, after a meeting with a customer, and the list goes on.

Saying I'm an introvert is not an exaggeration, I guess. When the pandemic hit, it's a heaven and hell experience for me. Now, after about 2 years after pandemic, I fortunately is able to travel more. I've always loved traveling since high school because I have time to think to myself, about myself and for myself.

Watching the night scenery, people, isolated buildings, the cats and dogs on the roadside. All the have been inspiring me to write better books for people to read.

However, during the 15-day writing period, the travelling that I'd done was out of voluntary as they were work-travel and not relax-travel (you get what I mean). So, writing has become my querencia to escape and cool down after interacting with people and stranger, going outside my comfort zone. It feels like I'm giving myself a pat in the back for the day when I can just dissociate myself and write:)

Do you love to travel? What's the most unique one?

I spent the total of 15 days of planning and writing the completed version of this book. I can say that this is the shortest time I've ever spent writing a completed book from scratch planning. Okay tbh, I need another 5 days to revise and proofread everything again but this much draft pages in 15 days is something I didn't know I could achieve, considering my slump and creative block plus my hectic schedule in university.

TMI tho, within the span of 15 days, I almost gave up 3 times writing the book due to a lot of incidents, expected and unexpected. You can say I'm not the most lucky person in this life. I'm honestly so used to it. But hey, listening to songs and taking breaks help a lot. I couldn't tell you the amount of toxic motivation that went into the process of completing this book but whenever I read this book again and again, it reminds me of the initial intention I wanted to write this book and share with you guys.

By the end of the days, these inanimate symbols and ink can bring life to someone out there. And even if this book touches only one person's life, I am more than happy:)

          TRIVIA 3

The use of Original Character (OC) as the main character.

Honestly, 'she', an OC as an original character is hard to create because 'she' has a rather unique upbringing and I don't really have a real-life acquaintance or reference to make her condition either relatable or realistic. I have to do extra reading just to get her character alive(?).

This is not my first time sculpting an OC but since she has some specific mental health issues, this is an interesting challenge to me as a writer. While there are a lot representation in literatures all over the world, I wouldn't want be the deaf tone one.

Even though this is a fanfiction, I would rather this fiction to be a breather to people who are struggling out there by makin an OC as the main character instead of picking another idol as 'her'.

My fellow writers, what kind of interesting OCs have you guys attempted to write and make them alive?

          TRIVIA 2

Muse will revolve around the issue of mental health and burnout in youth. We know these might happen to anyone in this world, either they realize it or not.

The competition in the world today has made us dragged in the same pace, the pace that may have been torturously fast. Often time, we push ourselves beyond our limit because we believe that's what we supposed to do to survive. While it's true (sadly), it's also important to take breaks whenever needed.

Do not gaslight ourselves into thinking we don't deserve breaks or we haven't done much to even deserve feeling exhausted and needing breaks. You know your body better.

Now, the bigger issue is, how effective your breaks are?

Minr sharing what you do when you're feeling almost burnt out?

          TRIVIA 1

The book's title is 'Muse' and it means 'a source of inspiration'. I first knew of this word when I watched the K-Drama 'K2' and it was about SNSD Yoona's character becoming a Muse to a fashion designer.

Since then, I've read a lot about 'inspiration' and 'motivation'. About how art is free and about how to gain inspiration. Funny how I try to push something so fine and intrinsic when it can happen very naturally.

After becoming an adult, the word 'inspiration' has become so vague to me that the small things don't inspire me anymore. I keep trying to look for big events to be inspired rather than living in the inspiring small moments.

So recently, I have been living my life rather slowly to indulge the small things we usually don't notice. The flying leaves, the jumping squirrels, the marching ants, the embrace of the wind and people's smile:)

Friends, what inspire you these days?
