Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh NUR,
I hope you are well, in shā’ Allāh. My thoughts recently went to your parents, and I found myself wondering how they are doing, so I made du‘ā for them. I was also very happy to read that you travelled together — it truly feels like a great sign of progress in their recovery. Alhamdulillāh. I pray that Allāh grants them complete and lasting healing.
Now to Jadwa — jazākumullāhu khayran. It was truly an eye-opener. As a Hausa-Fulani girl who wasn’t fully immersed in the culture and was raised in a very different environment, I’ve always felt a longing in my heart for things I couldn’t quite name. Reading Jadwa helped me give words to those feelings. It also helped me hold firmly onto my standards and understand myself better.
I am doing my best — investing in myself, growing patiently, and waiting for my own version of Muhammad Imran, in Allāh’s perfect timing. I am genuinely grateful that you exist and that you write the way you do. Your words carry depth, clarity, and sincerity.
May Allāh continue to increase you in goodness, strengthen your īmān, and bless your family abundantly. Jazākumullāhu khayran.
I love you for the sake of Allāh.
Warm regards,
Azeezat
