Maraming salamat sa iilang nagbasa ng Wherever You Stray! Nagsimula ang kwentong ito sa story idea na rooted sa yearning. Ang mahalin ang isang tao sa kanyang likod dahil wala tayong kakayahang harapin ang ating damdamin. Napakalayo na ng itinakbo ng istorya kumpara sa initial draft na nakalaan para rito. Nangsimula ito bilang 5k word short story hanggang sa nagkaroon ng sariling buhay ang mga karakter. 
          
          Hindi ito perpekto, may mga issue sa verb tenses at mga typographical errors. Dahil nagsimula ito bilang side project lamang habang nagsusulat ako ng ilang mga short stories na ipinipasa ko sa mga Call For Submissions, hindi ko siya binabalikan at tinututukan. Hanggang sa naging ito na pala ang pinakamahabang naisulat ko sa kasaysayan ng aking pagsusulat. Haha!
          
          Sinubukan ko ring ipasok itong WYS sa isang writing challenge. Pero hindi ko talaga kayang magsulat ng consistently and consecutively everyday, throughout a month. I am not built for that. Gusto ko 'yong nakakahinga ako. Kaya kung susumahin, limang taon kong isinusulat ang kwentong ito.
          
          This will be my last time writing straight characters. I will be focusing more on writing queer stories.

I am writing an m2m smut hahaha. let’s see how it unfolds 

I don't believe I will be writing on Wattpad anymore. Writing has always been my refuge, an outlet for release. I began writing here for fun back in 2016, but I attempted consistent writing when the pandemic struck.
          
          I've written primarily cheap-romance themed novellas and short stories. While I wouldn't consider myself unsuccessful, I did traditionally publish three of my short works: "I Was Wrong," "SAAMAAP," and my most recent, "Pulang Payong."
          
          Many of my stories were fictionalized accounts of my life. However, I also wrote essays, such as "The Last Few Things I Googled," which won a contest hosted by WattpadPH. It wasn't much, but it was validating as a writer.
          
          Numerous readers have expressed admiration for my writing style, yet I believe there is still significant room for improvement. My extensive involvement in writing contests during high school, particularly in campus journalism, honed me into the writer I am today.
          
          Currently, I work as a Special Education teacher, a demanding, often thankless, and energy-draining profession. Perhaps life is redirecting me to a career where my skills are most needed.
          
          I once dreamed of becoming a full-time writer. Though the thought still lingers when my work is particularly exhausting, I know I can never truly remove writing from my life. I believe it will return to me when the time is right.
