@mayflower_700 where is it? I was really looking forward to reading it cause I enjoyed reading the first book.

@mayflower_700 In some flashbacks, a little later in the series, it's revealed that it all started with Yukime, Yuri's 16-year-old albinism-affected brother, planning to get a pet insect, partly because he wants to scare entomophobic Yuri, who's returning from  the police academy for the holidays, with something that's NOT a cockroach. He goes to a pet store, where he comes across a pretty red and blue spider. The store owners let him buy it! He scares Yuri with it! Two months later, the family learns that their pet is in fact a shapeshifting 13-year-old teen, when the 'pet' transforms and saves the mother from a kitchen accident- right in front of Yuri and Yukime. Yuri recognises him as Peter Parker, her late mentor Ben Parker's nephew. Peter reveals that he is running from the CPS, and that his aunt died of Cancer. His mother was an asymptomatic carrier of a deadly disease that would kill him, so his now-diseased parents experimented to save him in utero (his uncle told him when he found some files). Yuri suggests that he stay with them, as there's no guarantee that he will get into a good orphanage (her friend's adopted sister has PTSD), and because she owes Ben. Peter adapts well as the days go by, learns martial arts from her dad to control the downside of his abilities, and helps Yukime (who goes to the same school) with his science homework. In return, Yukime helps him with subjects he is bad at. The readers don't know what happened of Yuki, until Peter, Yuri and family decide to visit him. A final flashback reveals that 15-year-old Peter had spied on Yukie' s new girlfriend, and learned that she planned to humiliate him. Peter gets it on video, but hesitates to tell Yuki. One day, Yuki catches him being distracted by his phone, and finds out everything. He decides to confront her. On the way, he is killed in a drive-by accident caused by some bank robbers. Peter catches them as Spidey, and resolves to use his abilities to save the people of New York.
            

@mayflower_700 A sequel will do, and so will an episodic detective superhero thriller suspense comedy one-shot series?!
            The latter will follow Yuri Watanabe and her foster brother, 16-year-old Peter Parker/Spidey, who solve unusual crimes involving both strange murders and oddities (dunno, maybe a little like the X-Files)?!  
            The story takes place shortly after 'Civil war'and 'Homecoming'! Whilst dealing with crimes, Peter/Spidey crosses paths with the Avengers (they don't know his identity) who want to recruit him, and MJ's alias Faux, a butt-kicking merc-in-training who can control people's minds and read them through skin contact!
