Author, M. C. Arvanitis resides in a coastal community in the Pacific Northwest (USA). She taught preschool and early elementary for over thirty years until her retirement. She now spends her time writing children's picture books, midgrade fables, and historical novel for upper teens.  When she isn't writing she is beach walking or traveling to visit family and friends.
