This is super random but you’ve read most kaylor fics so i figured if anyone knows it will be you. Do you remember reading a fic where the plot had something to do with karlie being taylor’s guardian angel and in the end she has to go back to heaven and taylor is completely devastated. So was i to be fair it was one of the most heart wrenching fics i’ve read. Anyway i’ve searched and searched for it but I think it’s been deleted. Either that or it never existed, please tell me i’m not crazy??

hi!! omg i have but my memory is the absolute worst lmao. this does remind me of two but both of them was backwards (with taylor being karlie’s angel)
one of them was called “angels roll their eyes” if i’m not mistaken and they have an entire relationship (and get married by the end) only for the last chapter (or epilogue?) to be karlie in a psychiatrist’s office talking about how she had done something to her sister bc the sister said taylor wasn’t real (to which taylor who’s been standing in the corner of the room only karlie can see her, rolls her eyes)
OR
it could be “when it rains ir pours” which was originally a one shot in a collection book and later posted as its own thing, again, if i’m not mistaken. again, taylor was the angel in that one and they meet each other because there’s a flood in the city that brings water angels (?) into people’s houses. this was a bit different thought as the angel is seen more like a creature than a human so everything is kinda new to her. I do think they end up having a relationship but eventually she has to go back (somewhere, I don’t remember if it’s heaven just that she leaves) and the ending goes somewhere along the lines that every time there was a flood karlie would wait to see her again until one day there was a shadow in her window or something.
if neither of these sound like the one you were thinking i’m afraid i won’t be of much help bc i really just dabbled into the alternative universe fics so i didn’t read a lot, but if you have more details we can try and figure it out!
