I started out writing jokes for my life as a standup comedian. I also started a blog called, "Dirty 30 and Beyond," as a continuance of the live comedy I was pursuing, but more to do with life, experienced from a thirty-something perspective. I also wrote about politics and women's issues in online platforms such as, "Daily Kos."
Now, writing about love and life, pain and disappointment, whilst trying to maintain a sense of humor, is my passion. I keep my heart open in order for the experiences to either embrace me like a newborn child, or burn me up in its flash fire. Writers are empaths...voyeurs of human nature, after all. It is our destiny to translate everything we feel.
