Aaaand it's done. You all had a couple extra days, but everything has been removed as of today. Anything you may have been reading, with the exception of Muse and Just a Job, has been moved to Archive of Our Own and you can finish or continue reading there.
Username there is mcpickle84, just like here!

Everything that will be moved over to Archive of Our Own has been moved over as of today! (So, that's everything except Muse and Just a Job.)

And a final reminder that everything will be removed from Wattpad at the end of the month!

mcpickle84

This is the second to last reminder that in a few weeks *everything* will be taken down from here on Wattpad.
Just a Job and Muse will NOT be making the move over to AO3, but everything else will be moved over.
If you are in the middle of reading anything, please keep this in mind!
My AO3 account is McPickle84, just as it is here.
You can also follow my professional writing account on Instagram (ameliasfletcher) if you want updates on the publishing for Muse and Just a Job!

Dearest followers.
I've been thinking on this a lot recently, and have come to the heavy decision to pull all my work from Wattpad.

If you are in the process of reading Just a Job or Muse, this is your last chance to read them. Everything will be taken down at the end of Feb, the majority will continue to exist on AO3.

Wattpad, in general, has been a good place. In spite of my absence over several months, my works have continued to be seen and read - though in general, very little engagement for how many people have read my stories.

But low engagement is not my primary reason for pulling away from Wattpad.

Over the last year I have traded into the world of self publishing my work - my first book, Foxtail Inn, was originally a fan fiction tale that I published here.

I'm currently rewriting Muse as an original story set in the same town as Foxtail Inn, and I've started to process to rewrite my most popular fic, Just a Job, as well.

Of course I have plans for purely original work as well - if you follow my other account, you know I've worked on Cinnamon Kiss and Crescendo on and off for almost a year. That account will be coming down as well.

I simply want my readers to enjoy fresh content, instead of rehashing and rewriting stories again and again. I enjoy and appreciate the feedback I get here, but I also enjoy people's reactions when they get to read something the first time.

I'm not abandoning fan fiction, not entirely, however going forward any fan fiction I put out will likely never be reworked as original fiction.

But what about my unfinished stories?

All unfinished fan fiction stories will be transferred to AO3 - if they aren't there already. Just a Job and Muse will not be transferred over.

I will be taking down my Wattpad accounts at the end of February.

Thank you everyone who has supported me here over the last few years, I'm grateful to everyone of you.

Catch you on the flip side
          Amy

Hello friends, hello new followers!
I'm sorry for being so quiet the last few months, I promise I'm still around! I've just been very busy!

Foxtail Inn is now available to purchase on Amazon or read on KU, under my penname Amelia S. Fletcher.
          https://www.azonlinks.com/B0BWSPL176

Muse is the next story to get the de-Marveling treatment, and I will be modifying it significantly to fit the Foxtail Grove universe. I will make an announcement when I'm about a month away from the publication for Muse to warn you all the version here is coming down!

You still have about 4-5 months to read it here.

Other unfinished fics will be completed over the next few months, but my priority is on writing and editing Muse and another book I'm publishing later this year.

You can follow me on Instagram at @ameliasfletcher if you want updates on that stuff!

Final reminder, if you have started, or want to read Foxtail Grove before it gets taken down, you have 4 more days! I will be removing it on Saturday evening (West coast time!).

If you prefer to read the new, original version, Foxtail Inn comes out on November 30th, and you can preorder it now on Amazon.

I managed to get A Million Lights up for you guys, but Isla wasn't quite as close to being done as I thought it was. ... But when I post it, I hope you'll be happy, it's certainly not going to be lacking in spice!
I'll probably have Flowers & Isla for you next week if my schedule remains as open as it looks currently!
Over the next few months, I'll have more regular updates coming for everything that's still ongoing, and a few one-shots as well. And maybe one new story that was a one-shot and morphed into something way bigger, lol.

mcpickle84

With the new school year things are settling back down finally, so ....

I'll have updates for A Million Lights and Isla Esmeralda this week!

As well, today I made some changes to the last published chapter of Isla Esmeralda, but nothing about the storyline has changed so if you want to skip that it's fine.

Hopefully going to re-release the first few chapters of Deo Volente in the next few weeks as well. It's going to be a bit more magical than historical now!

Thanks for sticking around over the last few months!

mcpickle84

First updates that will be coming in September:

A Million Lights, two or three more chapters and we will be done!

I have more coming for everything else, but I'm not sure what I'll have coming next. Probably Flowers in Her Hair though!

So, this is just to let you all know I'm still alive and still writing, just haven't had as much time to work on these things over the summer months as I had hoped.
