The Survivalists | Synopsis | First Look | COMING SOON

          	YEAR 020, ATG.

The Great Destruction lived up to its name. Our world has been turned upside down, twisted beyond recognition, with only desolate hints of broken nature as a glimpse of what we had before, and lost.

We find sanctuary beneath the ruins, as Realists. Those who are known as Escapists linger beyond our safety and drown themselves in empty fantasies, the last traces of a new technology strapped to their faces in an immaterial world, their minds lost, blood laced with disease.

The late Survivalists' journey will not be for nothing. Their assumed deaths will not be laid to rest and forgotten, lost out in the open, lost with our hope of a second chance at restoring our planet, restoring ourselves. A division of the new generation has stepped forward, led by a girl who seems to see hope where we have lost sight of it, hidden amongst the decay, the delusional, the rabid creatures riddled with fatal bacteria.

These Survivalists will adopt the same mission as those before them. They will leave Aridwatch Sanctuary behind to track down the C.C.C., the base where its technologists promised us stability, but never delivered, assumed dead along with the rest. Find the base, set us free. Restore communication with the space station in the high, starry airs to protect us, using the last of humanity's efforts with what they call Cosmia.

The Realist's last hold of hope hangs as tight as we can bear to our Survivalists; Annika, Cohen, Harriet, Luke, Emilie, and Jasper. We have trained them well into young adulthood, and now we wait for deliverance, as we have waited for two decades.

Live now to live well. Good luck, Survivalists.

My new short story, Café On The Corner, will be released tomorrow evening, 19/02/2022!!
For anyone who's interested in dystopia and sunsets, be sure to look out for it and add it to your libraries ❤

          ⬇ Here's the teaser ⬇

"There's a sunset in the sky this evening. I remember how much we used to love those."
The world is slowly dying around her, around the Café On The Corner, and she knows.
She remembers everything, and the café is the best place to silently reminisce... watching nature turn on its tormentors.
She'll never forget Meg, or her father, as the sun sets in the sky, the only still, calm element left watching over her before it too fades away with the darkness of the last night.
