Yeah, it is true that people are having problems, but you can't always help them the way you want to. Supporting them and reassuring them may help them, but it isn't always the case.
Many need to get professional help,others need just a friend, you never know which. The least you can do is talk to them. The 'something' you can give them is help.
Society may be doing nothing to help, but you'll have to think on their side too, they have their problems too. However, society may not even know how to help.
Maybe it would be better just to talk to someone and yeah, wait it out.

hey, for all of you people out there. I have noticed that there is a problem. That problem is society and depression. These are BIG things, and they stand in our way. I know that most of you people suffer from these things, and know that I am more than willing and happy to talk. Know that you are beautiful and amazing and needed. Please know that you are to good, and that if the world lost you, it would lose a piece of itself. Please know this. I am here for you.
