@northernlotus * he chuckled, smiling for a moment and then elbowed her teasingly, shaking his head, smiling at the thought of being with yun after their adventures together. initially he had only planned to use her for his own gain, and was going to end up leaving her for his nation; his family. that was still the goal of course, and he would do that...but it didn’t hurt to imagine a what if and think of an alternate world where they could be together. well, not together, his eyes glanced at her necklace, but a part of him didn’t want to lose his only friend * nevermind then; not worth it. * he took steps toward the inn, his warm breath puffing translucent smoke into the air * let’s uh, head in. i’m so tired i could fall asleep on the road, but well, i’d prefer a bed. 

*  she was slightly taken by surprise with his request and she almost immediately responded with a  ‘  yes  ’  but she stopped herself — the stone of her betrothal necklace began to weigh heavily around her neck as if to burn her with guilt and false hope, a reminder of where she currently stood in her tribe’s society and the life she would be going back to if she were to return. . . but in this moment with ryuu, she didn’t want to think about it,  *    i . . . guess it wouldn’t hurt, right? i can show you the spirit oasis and where i grew up, but you’re definitely gonna need warmer clothes. and i’m talking layers and fur type of warm clothes. can you handle that?    *  she said teasingly, grinning up at him  *

@ancientsuns you’re saying these don’t have flavor? * he let out an obnoxious burp; no one would ever expect him to be nobility, banished or not * these? these are amazing. probably the best i’ve ever had, and i’ve traveled the nation looking for the best, and i’ll have to say, with my / expert / opinion, that these by far are the best! 

*  she smiled and waved his words away.  *   trust me, the island-style fire flakes are wayyy more flavorful than these. of course, our fire flake recipe dates back to thousands of years before the hundred year war so . . . we have HISTORY. we have FLAVOR.
