In 2010 I set myself a goal. I was going to write a novel within the next five years, or bust. It didn't have to be good. It didn't have to be published. It just had to be finished.
Since then I have completed two historical romances. And as I'm a girl who likes to keep her promises, they're not good and not published. I've started, and failed to finish, many more novels and written dozens of flash fiction stories.
I've nailed two NaNoWriMos and utterly failed at one. Despite discovering KonMari, my house is a mess of notebooks and half baked ideas . I like playing with ideas around myths and fairy tales.
I grew up on Georgette Heyer, Susan Cooper and Mary Renault. I love fantasy, science fiction and most types of romance and I'm a sucker for a bit of YA and fan fiction too, if it has a strong voice.
I'm a wattpad newbie and I'm finding my way - if you think I might like your work, send me a link.
