"Whispers of the Shadowed Note" was born from a desire to blend tension, magic, and mystery with a character who discovers a world much larger than her own... and finds herself facing difficult choices. I write them spontaneously, and Alissa is my middle name, so writing this story is a bit like experiencing it through me. 🫣
