Hi, I'm Mel. 

After years of putting my heart and soul into building my business, I woke up in 2017 realising I need to figure out what things I enjoy outside of work! 

I am still amazed to discover I enjoy creative writing so much. Having only ever written for business and copywriting for websites, writing always felt like something on the to-do list. 

Until I turned my hand to the worlds of fantasy and science fiction which have been a long-standing favourite of mine. I am an escapist. I love anything that takes me out of the daily grind. I love losing myself in imaginative worlds and wishing I could be there, and sometimes grateful I'm not. 

Science Fiction and Fantasy has always been a part of my life, so it should come as little surprise that you will mostly find SFF works here, mostly aimed at young adult or new adult. 

So I've come to writing a bit late in life but love the way I get to live in the worlds I create. Much more so than by reading it. I'd like to share some of my words and worlds with you in the hope that you get just as swept away as I do.
