Rest Easily and Peacefully, King.

On this day, 17 years ago, we lost the greatest gift we’ve had to all of humanity. A man who stood for unity, peace, love, healing, HUMANITY.

As Reverend Al Sharpton once said, “It was Michael Jackson that brought Blacks and Whites and Asians, and Latinos together. It was Michael Jackson that made us sing ‘We are the World’ and ‘feed the hungry’ long before Live Aid…”

As Dr. Mable Parker McLean once said, “Immortality will cradle you gently in its arms and you will be forever known…”

We grieve, we shed tears, we push through the day that took one of our greatest’s gifts from us. Today, as much as I cry, as much as I beg for his return, as much as I wish he was still with us, he’s within every being that believes.

He is in our hearts, our souls, our world still. His legacy will be known across generations to come, as well as the ones prior.

To Michael Jackson, wherever you may be, I hope you see the outpouring love this world has kept for you and the generations to come that’ll cherish you. You will forever be known, forever loved, forever remembered.

Rest Easy to the King of Pop. How we love and miss you dearly❤️‍️
