If I were concrete,
I'd be mellow.
Letting people walk all over me,
leaving me cracked and bruised,
while their feet are healed.
Using me,
to soften all of their hardships.
Using me,
to get rid of their pain.
Never using me,
to get rid of my pain.
I, for one,
left with all of the pain.
And the worst part is,
there's no one else to blame.
Because my looks proclaimed,
"I am mellow concrete."
What a shame.
