* adrien grew up very close to his mother, even if his father had taken off before he could remember she was all he needed. together they faced the troubling truth of the world. from a young age he had an ear for music, he loved to sing and dance and later on down the line he began to play guitar. it became very apparent to him that it was hard to gain traction as a small musician so it was a hobby. after high school he decided he wanted to be a lawyer. with two years of prelaw under his belt and his mother becoming increasingly unwell he took some time off.
the diagnosis was devastating, dementia. what was originally going to be a couple weeks off of school turned into finding a job as a legal secretary. needless to say his little dead end job wouldn't cut it.
she got worse and worse and he would have to care for her full time, besides on the weekends when he played and sang at various bars. it was his getaway while someone else took over caring for his mother. there was no way he'd ever place her in a retirement home regardless of how bad she got.
