Soooooo...i may have acted too quickly by unpublishing my work again but hear me out and please, if ypu can/have the chance offer me some advice... Recently my friend refered to how we (both of us) like kpop, anime and dramas etc, and just some of the variety shows as a "fetish". She said it in a casual way, but its not a word i take lightly so i was researching to see if maybe i really *do* have one... So as I was researching about it, a point i came across was someone mentioning "writting pornographic (smut or even just imagines in general) could be a sign of fetishisation because you're objectifying the person? I forgot how it was explained, but it made me feel bad because its not something i want to do so i unpublished my work. But as i was removing imagines from my library, i thought... Is it really bad to make up scenarios in your head about someone yoh like? Because as a fan, i normally follow the personalities (we get to see) and i like their personalities... So am i really coming from a bad place. And its just easier to write about celebrities because character creation is easier and people already have a visual of what to think... Idk...whats you guys is opinion, is it really fetishising? Did i misunderstand?

If I may, it’s not fetishization to write smut or imagines about individuals it’s for a visual and among other things but fetishization does run prominent amongst authors it’s usually Race and color thing. It’s a story. Honestly there’s a difference from someone writing for specific reasons like that rather then just fun or storytelling- of course boundaries and levels that shouldn’t be crossed because they are still people but other then that I think you panicked. Fetishization isn’t something I’ve noticed you’ve done it’s more of a behavior then just writing smut and imagines once you see it for real it’s hard to ignore.
