This account really blocked me because one of my characters is petite. They went as far as to put the story into a reading list with a rude title, declared it bad writing, and left a disrespectful comment on the intro. Lmao. 
          
          She claims to be brutally honest about what she says and that what she says is the only truth. No, girl. Lol. You sound crazy. This chick takes Wattpad way too seriously. Anyone who tries to make others feel bad about their writing on here is a piece of trash. Idc if someone is a good or bad writer, you either like it or you don't, and you move on. Discouraging people is wrong.
          
          Mind you, I'm small and petite in real life. So if I want to write about a small and petite beautiful woman, I can. Get the f’ck out of here with that.

@melodyXriddle thanks for the compliment I completely agree, my sister was telling me about an acc on here who admitted on there messaging board to bullying another creator to delete their story because they put they fiction in fiction by changing a characters sexuality… I’m sorry what?! The whole point of fanfiction is that it’s non canon. I was shocked to say the least

@CherryWine513 your writing is really good. So, I have no doubts that you will always get the support you deserve, though I know there will always be hate. But you are completely right, we write for ourselves and what we would like to read — and if other people enjoy them, it's always a plus. I understand criticism is a part of art, but to put down others on Wattpad who are already smaller writers and are doing the best they can, is so sad to me.

@melodyXriddle oh absolutely keep writing. I’m the same, I started writing mine cause there aren’t many Regina mills x female oc and I wanted to read it. At the end of the day if someone doesn’t like it they don’t have to read. Simple as. I cant stand people who put other people down for their creativity like get a grip. Do they have nothing else to do with their lives?

Have to constantly tell myself that just because a new story or new chapter doesn't get a lot of reads or votes in the beginning, doesn't mean it is bad. Over time, it'll get attention if I work hard on it. And even if the story isn't popular, it'll be okay too. Still, I’ll get so nervous and nauseous when I post because I think everything I write is terrible. It's exhausting. But I'm trying to stay focused and post as much as I can.

@melodyXriddle I know! And believe me, I get it, it can be frustrating anyway (we're just trying to tell ourselves that we don't have to be lol). But yeah, we definitely should write for ourselves and the few people who'll find and love the stories. ❤️

@samcrosfaith doing my best to remember this. You know how my brain works better than anyone on this app, so during these more frequent time periods, it's hard. But you are right, writing for ourselves and people who do support our writings is what matters. That is why we started writing on here in the first place.  It isn't about the votes and reads, it's about expressing ourselves and enjoying the characters we adore. Thank you for the kind words. I don't want to give up again and I definitely want to finish the old books I have. ♥️

Anything I write besides SOA never gets much attention but you gotta remember to write for you and for the people (even if it's just one other person!) that absolutely enjoy that story. Your new one will get the attention it deserves (I really hope so!). And I'll be the first to check out every new chapter ❤️
