I’m back and I’m better. Honestly tumblr is a shit show atm so I’ll be uploading my stories onto here so they aren’t lost. I’ll do a book for each idol and while I’m here I might as well work on some old fics, eh? Stay tuned!

I am an African American writer, most of the writing pieces in the K-pop fandom alone don’t relate to me but I do not complain, I do not protest…you know why? That’s the character/reader the writer had in mind and in no way do I have any right to comment on what the writer writes, it’s their work.

Please understand I am not trying to be rude or hateful, I just need people to understand. When you read something of mine and it’s describing the character’s kinky/nappy hair or their dark skin, and dark eyes, you have no right to say anything to me. Just as when a non-poc writer says ‘her pale skin’ or 'her long straight, blonde hair’ or 'her sparkling blue eyes’, I have no right to say anything about it because the writer took their time to write that story, it’s their work.

Once again, being an African American reader is not easy, I’ve only met a few of them (in the K-pop fandom and I’ve never met poc writers outside of this fandom-not saying there aren’t any!). Most stories I read, describe white/Asian readers and that’s okay, I just skip over those parts, add in my own parts, I don’t comment 'I feel very uncomfortable with your character being white/asian’ or 'I’m offended you only thought white/Asian people would read this’. I can’t stress the reason why enough, the writer, writes what the writer wants to write.

I only made this because someone on here commented on my story with a black reader 'I feel very uncomfortable that you assume only black readers would read this’. I love and respect all writers of any race because writing is not easy at all and you can’t be mad at someone for writing their story how they please.

Thank you all for reading this and thank you for understanding!

@Nana_be_stressing I agree, people shouldn't be upset about what race the reader is or how he/she looks. Keep up the Amazing work, you've gained my follow!
