Devoted Mother, Melonese, anOhio Entertainment Awards eight (8) time nominee and two time 
winning Director of the Year and Content Creator of the year, Playwright & 
Actress Melonese "Ymel" Yarbrough started her creative journey in 2011 as an 
aspiring Playwright. 25 Stage Productions later. Z107.9's 2016 Future History 
Maker Honoree uses her passion for the arts to change the lives of aspiring 
artist. Yarbrough serves a Behavioral Specialist
for a Local School where she has introduced art as therapy to the school and 
community. Contracted Playwright, Yarbrough consistently writes productions, 
skits, and audition monologues that have landed individuals touring 
opportunities, movie roles, and more. Directing Founder of Pieces of Me 
Productions & M.Y. Talent Studio's, Melonese is singled out for her truth, and 
strength that she showcased in her published Memoir, Memoir of a Broken Self, 
her poetry book #Ymelwrites. In 2017, Yarbrough won Chicago Theater 
Festival's Acting with the Star's with Drew Sidora.
Melonese holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and
a Master's Degree in Special Education.
Previously a Master Teaching Artist for the Boys and Girls Club, and Cleveland 
Playhouse, Melonese's passion lies in her work she does as an Entrepreneur. 
Melonese is the Directing Founder of Pieces of Me Productions and M.Y. Talent 
Studios and Co-Founder of D Squared Studio'z. She is the manager of The Unit 
Band and various Cleveland and California Artist.
