Hello dear readers,
          
          As those who follow the story BENEATH THE SURFACE  must have realised, there hasn't been a new chapter for weeks. I have been forced into a hiatus by real life!
          
          Nothing major, I was involved in a car accident at the beginning of the year. Thankfully, neither I nor any of the passengers were hurt, and it could've been worse than it was. But unfortunately, I got a tiny bit of whiplash. 
          
          Nothing to worry about, I go to work and do my regular life, but since I go to physical therapy 3 times a week (a bit like Severus in the story!), that means I literally have no free time to write. Plus I'm running on caffeine because I'm exhausted all the time, having to wake up at 5 am for the therapy sessions before work.
          
          Long story short, I will be back in a few weeks. Next week I'm handing in the student reports and after that and maybe one or two weeks of resting, I do hope I can go back to my usual writing schedule.
          
          Thank you so much for your patience, I will be back as soon as I can. I can't wait for you to read what happens next! 
          
          Tl;DR I've been forced by real life to take a hiatus for the BENEATH THE SURFACE story but I'm hoping I can go back to writing and posting schedule in about 1-2 more weeks.

          After having the story sitting there, unfinished, at over 110,000 words, I've decided to start posting it. ENJOY!! 
          
          Summary:
          In the aftermath of the battle of Hogwarts, Harry goes to find Severus Snape's body. A lot of things have changed in his mind when it comes to Snape, and he thinks he deserves to be buried like the hero he is. However, what is his surprise when he finds him alive!  And Harry decides that the decent thing to do, and what he wants to do, is to stay and help him heal.
          A story of healing and recovery, acceptance, friendship, and love.
          It eventually will become a romance, magical forced bonding story. But it will take a while to get there.

@Foxydemon911 No worries, you read at your pace! I hope I can post the next two chapters in the next few days/weeks, they are mostly done and half-edited already. I know you're sad about the fic ending, I'm sad too (I've been with this story for over a year now, though I didn't write for months at a time). So far I don't have plans of making a sequel, since I have other Snarry stories I'd like to write. But I'll leave the door open, maybe I can add a small scene within the universe of Severus being little, or something similar. If I have an idea, for sure I'll write it! 
          Again, thanks for reading that story and now the Elementary story, I'm so grateful for you!!

          I'll let you know when the next chapters are coming. I've been stuck in the same place for a few weeks now, I have chapter 24 written but it needs to be edited, and I wanted to write the next chapters before posting that one. 
          We're on the last chapters of the fic!!! YAY!!
