Ugh I don't even know

Intro to my book (The Magic Side):
          
          Hailey had a normal life, she always thought about magic or why the world never 
          had a magic side...the one thing she really wanted was to meet a magical or mythical being, that would prove there was more to her boring world. That is until she met a winged boy named Dawn and his little black cat Shadow. Shortly after meeting the two she found great discovery within herself.
