BTWWW i know i'll probably could never write a story till the end BUT i really like how imaginative am i when brainstorming ( brainstorming = scroll tt) . but anywayyyy for kerusi kosong, the main character is hani. Hani is me, me is Hani. Hani is that plain girl you see sitting alone in the dark corner of old library. It's not that she doesnt have a friends, girl is just hating everyone ( note ; she is a cute introver ;') ). girl consumes caffeine like it is the only thing that keep her alive. anyways, girl hates confrotation. she rather do the freerider's task than scolding her ( wait she sound like me). And she is emotionally detached. like you can tell her that you just lost someone dear, and hani would be like "oh okay" LIKE GIRL REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY

alsooo the librarian did actually changes the light bulb a few times, but the light is still flickering. It was actually bcs of the faulty electrical circuit, which no one seems to care enough to fix. and the librarian also offer a new seat for hani, somewhere where the light is okay.

but hani refuses, feeling comfort in her usual seat. this shows no matter how many try to help hani, this will not change anything if hani herself didnt want to help herself. hani is the circuit, the light bulb is her mental condition

sooo the light actually represents Hani's mental state. It is always flickering, but Hani never care. She thinks it's just a small incovenience. Sometimes the light is dim, sometimes it's bright.

This shows the how unstable Hani's mental condition is. She feels okay most of the time, but it was just her denying her symptom. She feels empty, but she thinks it was just a passing feeling. She will blame her hungriness, or maybe her sleepiness. She is okay, she believes she is okay.

But nahhh, she is not. Hani has Persistent Depressive Disorder (PDD).

The light is flickering again, yet Hani chose to sit in her usual seat.

The dim glow pulsed above her, unsteady but never going out. It had been like this for months, buzzing faintly in the silence of the library. No one fixed it. No one even mentioned it. It was like the dripping ceiling near the back shelves, or the water filter by the entrance that hadn't been serviced in years—an inconvenience too small to be worth solving.
