Is it just me?

I don't like the fact that people(maybe just the people in my circle), try to find entertainment in friendships. While I think it is alright if you can get all that in one person, I believe it shouldn't be expected.

Frendships are meant to support you, friends should be people you can rely on when you need, or just share a comforting moment with no words exchanged, I don't understand the need to always have a conversation to feel that the connection I have with someone is strong. Instead, I believe that when the connection is strong, silence never feels awkward or boring.

So I don't really know if what I believe is right, or is it something that implies to just me, so I wrote it down here in case I can get someone else's perspective on it.

@ meskeleton_07 Just give it time - you will find the right people. People who are both simply fun to be with, as well as the ones for stronger friendships.

          	  I personally agree with @novelistASH .
Of course entertainment is not everything in a very strong friendship that lasts for a long time - but it's always a wonderful beginning.
I assume that some people probably don't even look for more than fun in a friendship, if that is what they feel comfortable with. But, like @novelistASH mentioned it, if they are ready to strengthen certain relationships, then there might be more to their comprehension of friendship.
Another aspect I've learned is that - although I'm sure that not everyone will understand or relate - you can have different friends for different things. This is not supposed to sound like I'm using my friends or relationships, definitely not. But I think it's like this: maybe you have a few friends you can meet up with just to have some fun and crack some jokes, and then, on the other hand, you can have friends you share a stronger bond with, people you really trust and rely on.
It's all a matter of perspective, so I surely understand your opinion as well.

'Cigar' came out of frustration due to an unknown cause.

@meskeleton_07 I was only speaking of my own experience. Though you could learn something through the effort, introspection doesn't necessarily need more words written.

@novelistASH thank you so much for you kind words. I'll try to make my pieces longer, but I can't really make any promise on that as all that I write is based off of my feelings only.

@meskeleton_07 I've found that expanding ideas into long pieces helps me peak at the inspiration from other angles.

Reading "Cigar", I'd wager a guess that your frustration came from something ignored. That little small bit of irritation growing without an outlet to direct that anger towards the source. It's difficult having to live with injustices that we can't control.

Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I do think that art can play a part in coping, and it can be the start of finding a way to identify a problem. Trust in your artistic vision and don't be afraid to analyze your work with a critical eye.

As expected, though it's probably my third time, I'll take a short break from posting more parts of the Redheads(I know I'm too slow, but there's a lot I have to do except writing).

Next part will be out on 10 January and will probably update as per my schedule then.

@Ethreal_euphoria thanks again, I hope you'll like it.
