Is it just me or do people skip action scenes in novels as well? Like stop with all that yappin

I’m having the worst cramps in my entire life. I legit passed out for a minute there, I’m dry heaving, and I’m so hungry it hurts but I can’t eat anything because I’m so nauseous. I just took 4 pamprin I’m hoping they’ll help
