Though I was born in Cajun country (south-central Louisiana), I've lived throughout the midwest and south United States. 

I've loved reading and writing for as long as I can remember. My first "real story" got confiscated by my third grade teacher. She returned it to me the next day asking me to finish it so she could know what happened. I've considered myself a writer since.

That said, I'm actually a polymath. In addition to writing, I love reading, crochet, sewing, quilting, gardening, learning new concepts and skills, and all things small business. All these competing interests make it a challenge to get stuff written!

My work is varied, mostly nonfiction. But I do indulge in a bit of fiction from time to time. I will be posting some here for feedback and critique. Can't wait!
