hey gorgeous! i recently finished setting up my writing discord server and we’re already at 40+ members but we definitely need more to make it a lively and wonderfully active place <33 it’s centered around wlw writers and lgbtq+ creatives, but it’s not exclusive at all and allies are welcome too.
we're doing weekly movie nights on fridays, and have spaces for sharing your writing, chatting with specific authors in their own spaces, joining writing sprints, book clubs & recs, getting constructive feedback, playing video/discord games, and just hanging out together.
workshops aren’t active yet, but i’m planning future live stage sessions with a writing mentor and hopefully graphic design workshops too. there are also prompt events coming up with prizes for winners! we now have moderators and genuinely lovely members who make the server feel really welcoming.
if you’d like to help the server grow while also making new friends, feel free to join through the link below. you’ll need discord to join, and if you need any help at all, just let me know: https://discord.gg/5dJ3rScqxu

Im not even quite sure how to put in words what your writing means to me, but I’ll give it a go. I read “Unwritten” a while back and it pushed me to get back into writing, not story writing, just silly words on paper that speak to me. But an outlet nonetheless. “Unwritten” was a gorgeous book that truly spoke to me about the act of understanding one’s emotions. The words in the book spoke to the part of me that struggles to talk about my feeling. It made me feel so many things all at once. For that I thank you.
Then, what I believe was two day ago; I started to read “In Amber and Skin”, a story that bleeds humanity and love. I believe that I will carry Selene and Lena with me for quite some time. They felt so real, so human, and the story was so poetic. Reading it felt like sipping tea in a cozy space, a warm hug, and it smelled like rain. The story truly felt real and familiar, a gorgeous book that displays human love.
Your writing is poetic, real, inspiring, beautiful, and striking. I thank you for sharing the parts of you that shed into these two beautiful books. I thank you for the hard work that goes into writing a book overall. I thank you for showing warm love, quiet love, fearful love, human love. I thank you.
I hope you are having a lovely day/afternoon/night.
Thank you,
-Z

A prologue to unwritten would be amazing

I’m literally waiting for In amber and skin to be complete to start it because I loved unwritten so much that I read it in one sitting. It might be the only wattpad book to ever make me feel something so deeply I cried. I hope someday you publish your work for the rest of the world to enjoy.

As promised I sat down and read and I am so glad I waited. Your writing reminds me of looking at a photograph where a moment has been capture in such detail and reverence that you can feel like and begin to image the world those frozen people exist in. I feel like I get a hangover when I stop reading because I am so connected to the moments you have created. It is a joy to read and I look forward to more. If you ever need beta readers or a second set of eyes I would greedily offer. Keep writing.

Your writing is transcendent. So captivating and beautiful. Even though you’re a total stranger, your writing feels like a home where I can rest. I read so much that I forget to stop and feel the words, but with your books that’s literally impossible. A soft blanket wrapped around the heart is the feeling. O haven’t felt that in a long time. Whatever love is, it exists in your writing. I genuinely hope you never stop.

Dear Author,
I recently read your book Unwritten and wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation for your work.
The descriptions of the feelings and dialogues between Emily and Vivian were incredibly creative and deeply moving.
Your storytelling has touched me profoundly, and Unwritten has become one of my favourite books.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful story with the world.
