Hey besties!
I just wanted to address something. I have just been scrolling through social media and seen some disgusting comments about people’s appearances. I know that nowadays you have to accept that with putting yourself out there online, it will most probably come with some disgusting and hateful comments. But that is so wrong. You should never have to be on the receiving end of people’s spiteful words because of who you are. Body image is at the centre of Wild Hearts because of my own personal struggle. In today’s society there is SO much pressure on young people especially to conform to the ridiculously unrealistic beauty standards. Writing is my outlet and so I decided to write a book with body image as a main theme to try and inspire even just one person to love themselves a bit more, and if my book has done that then mission accomplished! A quick reminder if people don’t tell you enough, you are bloody beautiful. And as cringe as it sounds, you were meant to be made exactly the way you are (stretch marks, cellulite, acne and all, your bloody perfect.) My messages are always open if you need to talk (no judgment whatsoever). Please remember that blowing out someone else’s candle won’t make your’s burn any brighter. I love you guys, keep smiling and embrace your Wild Hearts! <3
