The onc is coming up (just thought I'd remind you, hehee). I'm hoping to take part. I started a sequel to Rosalind called Bellua!! I'd been thinking about it for years and finally started. It's going slow but after the onc I'll probably write faster.

            I rarely log into Wattpad nowadays.. but when I do, I only open the notifications to see how everyone's doing. Haven't picked up any more books and caught up to the others, though. Honestly, I'm really glad that you still remember me after all this time :'D

            Yeah :') You've been barely around. A lot of people from back then have moved on with life and it suckssss. I feel old.

            Yup, how the times have changed! It's a welcome change after the online days (or years?) that we had. Oh, how I'm going to miss lots of things from those days too :')
            
            Welp, that's a new record alright! You should pat your back with pride for writing all that in 3-4 months. As a pantser. And in the horror / thriller genre XD It's surely time-consuming and draining, no wonder the burnout comes and goes every now and then. Have you felt better now, btw? I realized I really took ages to stop by here once again :')
            
            Knowing you, there was no stopping the bloodbaths. They're a major must-have. Moreover in this genre XD

            In 2020 and 2021 we missed our current life, and now we miss the online days. T_T

            Surprisingly, now that my vacations have begun, I've hit a little writing burnout. I finally got to 20K... only to realize my story is about 28-29K long. 6 more chapters. I am afraid I won't be able to finish but I'm pushing through! 22K atm!
            Now no more gut feelings- I've written 500 words for every chapter to get the right estimate. All I need to do is expand the same (it's taking more time that I expected, especially with a burnout) since my sentences are literally "I wore precious ornaments. I felt numb." Random stuff! xD
            Lol, you know me. The story turned out to be a bloodbath.

@eacomiskey yup, somehow the FOMO is still nagging me too. And one project too many will just add up to the next years too. The list might never end :')

@michh_44 I'm right there with you. I'm dying a little from FOMO by not participating, but it would definitely be one project too many

@michh_44 Yup, they're great this year, but I didn't find myself THAT tempted. Might be because I'm down with a terrible amount of work. Found a great prompt though, and that was enough. This year, all I want to write is for one round at least, you know, for redemption.

            It'll be really harsh during the second round now, I think. That... doesn't sound good. But then again, many people may stop before 8K so that's a natural filter?

            I'll try my best! Tried to do horror, but isn't scary AT ALL. I wish my imagination could just translate into words-

@UnravelAsha *fidgets* I heard of how good the prompts are and a lot are so tempting to write, but I'm forcing myself to focus XD I've been trying to finish my  old novella's 2nd draft since last year, but I just have enough time and energy for all that right now, and I really hope to complete it before this year ends. But maybe I'll still stop by for some inspiration, in case I get stuck on the editing. Hope I won't get carried away :')
            
            Ah, the free pass sounds very good to hear! I always thought the previous system was a little too harsh. Oh yes, I also heard of that. A lot of people were complaining and some just decided to opt out. But I think everything's been better after they fixed it? 0_0
            
            Good luck! ONC's a great place to dabble in new genres as well. You never know where your ideas will take you. I look forward to see how yours will turn out :)
            
            Yup, things sure are getting too mechanical. But it's good to enjoy all the fun while it lasts! Anyway, I'm still glad you didn't end up leaving Wattpad. It becomes a lot better while you're around :D

            Though ONC is a little different this year.
            ONC's first round is a kind of a free pass this year - if you have followed the rules (published after Feb 1st and 2K words), you're in. I believe the real judging will start only in the second round.
            And there was a huge war too, where ONC was offering monetary prizes so they required personal details (even IP address apparently) so people lashed out like crazy. I was out at this time and when I got back, it was already sorted, the prizes being the same as last year.
            So... a lot of people aren't joining due to broken trust, but personally, I'm looking forward to it!
            
            Thank you :D I'm going to be hopefully trying out Horror this year (a genre I have no experience in) since I already have a plot in mind and plan to find a good prompt for the same!
            
            Life gets mechanical from hereon. :,) Last year of school, college, job. And yeah, hope to get a lot of friends! So many people from last year have already left or gone inactive from here. :(
