Hi! I absolutely love lone dove and little dove! Both Poppy and Melanie are both such strong female characters who can stand their ground by themselves unlike some of the other books on this platform! I love seeing how Melanie is similar to Poppy and how much Edmund cares about her. At first, I thought Professor Forthright may have been an antagonist, however, as I keep reading it seems like he may just have Melanie’s best interest at heart while having strong romantic feelings towards her(which is really inappropriate)
