            in response he sighed .   " ok ,  you're right .  i'll let you carry on . "   the only way he would get back to lauren and normality was to escape the backrooms ,  so allowing the girl to work would be for the best .

/   oliver doesn't possess him in this future! / singer!  AU.   oliver stopped possessing him as he found ways to 'live' happily with his own form and without a vessel/host. he still haunts perry from time to time, but it isn't often. perry just says to ignore the phantom's spectral presence.
