Okay, hi, Midnight here. At the end of my story I said I would be able to get out the first chapters of the sequel at the beginning of Janaury. Tomorrow is Feburary already and I'm nowhere near posting anything. I do apologize for that, but writing 100k words last year tired me out and my mental health is taking a dip as well so writing was really hard for me for a while. I was also frustrated because the sequel didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, or rather, I couldn't find my way back inside, it all felt wrong and like I didn't do the first book justice.
That problem is fixed now though, but it's still gonna take a few months for me to upload anything. I'm currentl about halfway done with the first draft, after that follows the editing process which will take even longer than writing itself if it's anything like the first book. I just wanted to update you on that and tell you that yes, I'm still writing and no, I haven't just vanished and abandoned the project. You will get a sequel, I promise you that, but it will take longer than expected. I even have ideas for a book after that and maybe a different perspective on things by writing the first book from Dan's perspective, because he is my favorite character I ever created and I think he's very fascinating to write. Also planned are a few short stories, maybe I'll put them into the actual books as flashbacks, maybe I'll make it a separate book, I'm not sure yet.
