Hey diva, I recently published my John B fic, but swiftly unpublished when I realised i was completely unprepared I think I am somewhat good at writing, but as this is my first time even attempting to write a fic, I have not the slightest idea on where to start planning.I really look up to you as a writer, so I would be so grateful if you could possibly give me some tips? If not, then that's okay. I just wanna be prepared lmao
@mikaelsonswife_ I write straight into wattpad but I keep notes on all my stories (for plans and stuff) in my notes app x

@mikaelsonswife_ awwwww, tysm!! and yes ofc i'd love to give u tips!! - so, first thing i'd say is that SO many people write fics where the main character is the most perfect person that can do no wrong (i used to do this lmao) and the fic ends up being boring cuz there is NO character development. whereas in briar hargrove AND during my new fic the OC doesn't start off particular likeable. LOADS of ppl complained about briar doing that half naked dance on the table but that wasn't SUPPOSED to be a good decision, it was supposed to give her character development. same thing goes for avery dating rafe - i do NOT like rafe cameron (i love drew starkey tho ahaha) but if the book started with her making ALL good decisions then it would be boring. a JOURNEY needs to be had - a second thing is i'd say make sure you have a plan of how u want the journey to go!! even if it changes, even if it isn't perfect, have a small idea (i just stick my headphones in and listen to taylor swift and gracie abrams and ideas pour out of me lol) but that way the story doesn't become choppy and u don't have to go back and keep changing things (u don't have to have the WHOLE story mapped out, but just keep in mind what ur planning on doing the whole time!!) - third thing is do NOT worry about the amount reads/comments ur book gets!! keep on writing because YOU want to, not cuz of others. - finally, i'd say that giving ur OC a story that isn't just following somebody else's is the best idea (i ALSO used to do this lmao - i've just learned from a LOT of experience i guess ahaha) so in ur John B fic don't just give ur OC sarah's lines and story (not saying that's what u would do and ALSO not saying sarah cameron isn't amazing, but i've done it PLENTY of times b4 with various different fics, some of which are taken down now, so yeah) i hope this helps!! if you need anymore tips just ask again, I'll always be willing to help ❤️ xx

SO, I am fast losing interest in writing 'a little tragic'. i am very very sorry, but I honestly do not see any point in continuing it at the moment. tbh i'll probably gain random motivation for it in random bursts but as of now i'm going to unpublish it.
which brings me to my next problem.
i'm currently rewatching obx and have an oc x oc fic on it published, but i honestly wanna write another obx fic because that one isn't written the 100% best and a john b one has been requested.
HOWEVER, i don't wanna start that and then lose motivation cuz then i've hyped u guys up for nothing.
so... yeah. keep tuned and i'm sorry if I unpublish anything, i'm just trying to keep things organised!!
@mikaelsonswife_ honestly i LOVE writing fics so so much but sometimes when i focus on a specific fandom for too long i lose interest. sorry I built up your hopes for another stranger things fic and hopefully I will get back to it (tbh it might be back up by the end of this week cuz sometimes I get so weird with motivation ahaha) but yeah for the moment i'm gonna try obx and see i have more motivation with that xx thank you so so much for understand!!
awww girl I’m so so sorry you’re feeling that way, I was really enjoying mollie’s story but I totally respect your decision. I’d love to see a JB fic, but please put your mental health first and do what’s best for you, I love you and will support you no matter what you do!!

When you get to episode 8, is Steve going to stay with Briar and Vickie or go into the upside down with the group? Because when I was watching the part where they were rescuing the kids and Steve was with Derek it made me think of the line from your story where Derek says that he sees Steve as a dad.
@beautyandthebeast222 steve's gonna go into the upside down!! he's gonna have to, cuz it's his plan and he wants to kill vecna more than anything because of what he did to briar. and YES, that scene with derek literally came STRAIGHT from my book with their bond in the earlier chapters!! I loved it xx
the steve and briar reunion is currently at 2000 words... I hope u enjoy it tmrw is all I can say!!
